NOTE: This is not really popcorn, though it looks as if popcorn grows on trees, er, shrubs. I’m not sure if it’s edible. Do not eat this popcorn!

I live with my husband and crazy kitty. Much of my time is spent writing, reading, and playing with the grands. You can usually find me sipping tea or coffee, nibbling on dark chocolate, and contemplating what to plant next in the garden. If not those pursuits, then I am probably trying to figure out how to cook and live in an RV, creating cards with rubber stamps, walking, hiking, or out snapping photos with my camera.

  1. I LOVE this haiku moment! While your cautionary note at the end took me out of the wonder of pondering your words and the photo, I suppose you just might tempt some child or couch-dwelling adult to head into the woods for a treat! So yes to the note. And a tip of the hat to the beautiy of your words and image.

    • Thanks so much, Janet. I didn’t want to add the caution, but I also didn’t want someone to misunderstand and munch away if they found forest popcorn…that would be terrible! I appreciate your kind words!

  2. I love the picture and haiku to go along with it. Fun!
