I live with my husband and crazy kitty. Much of my time is spent writing, reading, and playing with the grands. You can usually find me sipping tea or coffee, nibbling on dark chocolate, and contemplating what to plant next in the garden. If not those pursuits, then I am probably trying to figure out how to cook and live in an RV, creating cards with rubber stamps, walking, hiking, or out snapping photos with my camera.

I love the poem and photo. That speckled rock looks almost like an egg. Have you seen the artwork online of people creating rock art? It’s pretty cool. Where do you keep your rock collection to show it off?

Thank you, Danna. I’m fascinated by rocks. Sometimes I miss the beach and wide views because I’m so focused on rock hunting. LOL. I have seen some of those rock displays, and they are amazing. Each time I think I should try. But life gets busy and I forget. I have rocks everywhere. Literally. A shelf here (the grands love to dig in and add to), several there, pretty bowls there, window sills, all over the garden, my gardening bench, tucked in drawers (in my desk I have a very cool rock with a hole and the whole rock looks like an owl). I really might have a rock-collecting problem. Someone else once said they wanted to see my heart rock collection (yes, I have one of those too), so maybe this is the year I try to make something cool with them! When it’s warmer. 🙂

Your rock displays sound lovely! A rock art challenge for warmer weather, I love it! I can’t wait to see it on your blog.
