On this date, April 23, 1979, at my dad’s birthday party, this guy popped the girlfriend question. And the rest, they say, is his (and her) story. Our story. What an adventure it’s been! 43 years ago.

The journey continues, my honey and me, best friends.
I live with my husband and crazy kitty. Much of my time is spent writing, reading, and playing with the grands. You can usually find me sipping tea or coffee, nibbling on dark chocolate, and contemplating what to plant next in the garden. If not those pursuits, then I am probably trying to figure out how to cook and live in an RV, creating cards with rubber stamps, walking, hiking, or out snapping photos with my camera.
Lovely couple Angie! Nothing much has changed since 1979 I believe – Lockers, crushes, well besides the cellphones, I guess. I also met my hubby in 1979, married in 1980. He loves dirt bikes and even won a few trophies. It’s 43 for us too. Congrat!
Wow, that’s pretty awesome that we would connect and have so much in common! We started off getting to know each other when he used to take me riding on the back of his dirt bike on the ditch banks! He didn’t compete though. Basketball and track were his sports. And firefighting. Congrats to you!
